What a mess, right? I haven't blogged in so long because I've been spending a lot of extra time on new projects. One of them was to hang shelves in my closet, another was to re-do my stairs and the third one is taking up most of my time and I'll share it with you later. For now, enjoy some stair pics!

Basically, I was sick of vacuuming the carpet on them and figured that after 7 years it was time to make my life easier. Painting them white might turn out to be a little bit hard to keep shiny and clean but it matched the rest of the trim, so I figured, why not? They add a certain old-fashioned charm to my house, I think...what do you think?
